📦 I am moving house: what happens to my internet contract in the UK?

The short answer

Before you move, check whether your current network is available at your new address. If you're changing broadband provider, cancel your current contract and arrange a start date for the new service in time for the move.

When you move, your provider may be able to take the service with you. If it cannot offer the same service at the new address, you may be able to end the contract. The rules for the UK are below.
