Sponsor a topic seat

One labelled block on the pages people in your country read about one exact problem.

Book a seat

It takes about five minutes. Have your company details and your ad text ready.

Be the only advertiser on the page people in your country read about this exact problem. One labelled block below our free answer and the official contacts, every language version of that page included, no tracking, no bidding. Where we have the page's Google numbers, you see them before you pay.

How it works

  1. Pick your country and topics
Every seat for sale is listed, with the page's Google numbers when we have them. One seat is one topic in one country, in every language version of that page.
  2. Write your ad
One headline and one line. We adapt them natively to every language of your seats; that is included. Want your own wording in each language? Add tailored text to any seat you like.
  3. Pay by card or SEPA Direct Debit
Monthly or yearly, through Stripe. Nothing is charged for the first 5 days.
  4. We check it and put it live
We check your text within two working days and put your block live. You get an email when it is live.
  5. Reports and cancelling
Every month you get a report. You can cancel a monthly plan any time; it stops at the end of the period you have paid for. A yearly plan renews only if you confirm.

This is how it looks

The block below is rendered by the same code as a live block, with a made-up sponsor. On a topic page it sits below the answer, the steps and the official contacts, and above the FAQ, with the label first. Nothing else on the page changes.

The same block on a page in German:

What a seat is

  • One seat is one topic in one country, in every language version of that page in that country: the page in the national language, its English version and the page in any other national language.
  • The same subject in two of our tools counts as two seats.
  • Every topic page can be sponsored, except the sensitive pages we never sell.
  • The seat card shows the page's Google clicks and position when we have them, or says that it has none yet. You decide.
  • No seats yet in France, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania or Poland, until we have checked their rules on the language of advertising.

What you get

  • One block below the answer, the steps and the official contacts, and above the FAQ. On phones it never appears on the first screen.
  • Your name, an optional small logo, a headline of up to 60 characters, one line of up to 120 characters and one link.
  • A clear label in the page's language that names you, for example "Advertisement · Sponsored by Example Ltd". Comparison sites and brokers paid by commission also show "Paid by the providers it compares".
  • A seat card before you buy, with the page's Google clicks, impressions and average position over the last 56 and 28 days, per language, when we have them.
  • A monthly report that leads with Google Search Console clicks. Our own counts of block views and link clicks are labelled as estimates.

What you never get

  • Any say over our verdict, steps, official contacts, FAQ, structured data or meta text.
  • Reader data, or your own cookies, pixels or scripts on our pages.
  • SEO link value: the link carries rel="sponsored".
  • Guaranteed clicks or rankings.
  • A seat on a sensitive page.

Your text

  • You write one headline and one line. We adapt them natively to every language of your seats. That is included.
  • We check every language and may refuse a text. If a language fails the check, the block does not show on the pages in that language. We never show another language instead.
  • No prices, superlatives, comparisons, health claims, other companies' brand names or web addresses, and no claims such as "official", "approved", "independent" or "certified".

Tailored text is an add-on per seat: your own headline and line in every language of that seat, for €25 per seat a month, excl. VAT. Add it to one, some or all of your seats.

Prices

All prices are in euro and exclude VAT. A yearly plan costs ten months' price. One price for every seat, with no traffic tiers. From seat 8 in one booking, each further seat costs less.

100 seats or moreCustom price, at least €40 excl. VAT per seat a month, paid yearly in advance

Bookings of 10 or more seats are yearly plans.

Founding partners

Founding partners get 25% off the seat price. The offer covers the first 200 seats booked and ends on the closing date at the latest. The founding price is locked for 24 months on yearly plans and 12 months on monthly plans, as long as the plan is never interrupted. It does not apply to tailored text.

The offer closes on 31 January 2027.

Country cap

One sponsor can hold one topic in at most 10 countries.

For brands

Insurers, telecoms, banks and other brands do not buy single seats. A category partner is the only brand of its kind across a whole category in a group of countries, for example every compulsory-insurance page in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Sold by conversation, with a monthly reach report: write to us using the address on our imprint page.

Pages we never sell

FFCheck never shows a sponsor, placeholder, affiliate link or any ad on pages about children, suicide, mental health, abuse, medical harm, death, violence, safety emergencies, debt distress, asylum or papers of vulnerable people, or anything similar. When in doubt, a page counts as sensitive.

Who can never sponsor

  • loans, credit and BNPL; debt collection and debt-relief firms
  • gambling; crypto; alcohol, tobacco and vaping; weapons; dating
  • supplements, cosmetic medicine, clinics, pharmacies and medical devices
  • funeral services
  • immigration, visa and permit services
  • custody-dispute services
  • political parties, campaigns and issue advocacy
  • resellers of free or official services (vignettes, ID documents, apostilles)
  • lawyers or agencies paid per case, per lead or per click

The conflict rule

  • A sponsor is never from the sector the reader may complain about, claim against or leave, and never sells a product that the page's verdict says is illegal or restricted there.
  • Energy pages: no energy supplier on any of them. Comparison sites and brokers only. That also rules out supplying cooperatives, dynamic-tariff suppliers, grid operators, and district-heating or oil/LPG suppliers.
  • Telecom pages: no telecom operator.
  • Complaint pages: no webshop or courier.
  • Garage-dispute and used-car pages: no garage or dealer.
  • Travel complaints: no hotel, booking site or tour operator.
  • Pages where readers object to cameras: no CCTV seller.
  • E-scooters: no e-scooter seller where private e-scooters are banned on public roads (UK).
  • Flight: no claim agency anywhere near it.
  • Disputes already under way (complaints, luggage, package holiday): no insurer.
  • A sponsor's domain never appears in the page's answer, contacts or sources (checked at render and at go-live).

Questions and answers

Who can sponsor?

Businesses only, each for its own brand: no reselling, and no booking on behalf of clients. Some sectors can never sponsor, and no business sponsors a page where readers complain about, claim against or leave businesses like it. We check both before a block goes live.

What is not allowed in the text?

No prices, superlatives, comparisons, health claims, other companies' brand names or web addresses, and no claims such as "official", "approved", "independent" or "certified". We may refuse a text, and we tell you why.

How do VAT and invoices work?

All prices exclude VAT. Where VAT applies, it is added to your invoice. A business in another EU country with a valid VAT number pays no Dutch VAT (reverse charge), and neither does a business outside the EU. You get an invoice for every payment.

What happens if a page changes?

Our pages are checked and updated often. If the answer on your page changes, or the page is merged, unpublished or becomes sensitive, we hide your block until we have checked the change. If the block cannot come back, you get the nearest open seat or a refund for the time left.

How do I cancel?

Reply to your booking email. A monthly plan stops at the end of the period you have paid for, and nothing more is charged. A yearly plan ends after its year unless you confirm that you want to renew; we write to you 30 days before it ends, and until it ends nobody else can book your seats. If you cancel during the free days at the start, nothing is charged at all.

How is the report measured?

It leads with the Google Search Console clicks and impressions of your pages. Our own counts of link clicks, and of block views where we count them, are estimates: counted by our server, without cookies, with bots left out.
