I smell gas in Sweden. What do I do?
Act immediately. Do not switch lights or appliances on or off and do not use a lighter. Open windows, leave the building and call the gas emergency number from outside.
📜 The rules in Sweden
Gas leak
There is no national gas emergency number. Gas is only piped in the west-coast network and in the Stockholm area, and each gas network company runs its own fault line, most of them around the clock. If you smell gas: open a window, call your gas network company's fault line and follow its instructions. If you suspect a leak and there is acute danger, call 112.
