New or bigger grid connection in Czechia: how long may it take and who do I complain to?
A new home, a heat pump, a charging point or solar panels can need a new or bigger connection. The grid operator does this work, and many countries set deadlines and rules on costs.
📜 The rules in Czechia
Grid connection
To connect a home power plant (e.g. solar panels) you apply to your distributor. At low voltage it must tell you within 30 days of a complete application whether and how you can be connected, and within 15 days if data are missing.
- You then have 30 days (low voltage) to accept the connection contract, otherwise the reserved capacity lapses; the connection fee share is due within 15 days of signing. (eru.gov.cz)
