I want to report a crime without giving my name

Direct answer

Every country has an anonymous reporting line — Pulizija — Crime Stop 119 (119) — that passes tips to the police without recording who called: drug production, weapons, human trafficking, a wanted person, a fraud you have seen at work. Your identity is not taken, and the report cannot be traced back. For a crime in progress or danger to life, call Pulizija ta' Malta — għassa tal-pulizija / 112 (112) — you can still refuse to give your name. Non-criminal nuisances (illegal dumping, unlicensed businesses, noise) go to Kunsill Lokali / LESA (2200 2300), which also accepts anonymous reports.
