☀️ Solar panels in Portugal: what do I get for the power I feed in?

The short answer

If you produce more than you use, the surplus goes into the grid. How you are paid for it depends on the national scheme.

📜 The rules in Portugal

Solar panels

Surplus power from your self-consumption unit can be stored, given to the grid for free, or sold to a supplier or aggregator under a sale contract. You can sell to the last-resort supplier (CUR) at a market-indexed price. There is no fixed feed-in tariff.
