Can I park on the pavement in Czechia?
No — pavements belong to pedestrians, and you may neither stop nor park a car on them. The single exception: a traffic sign or road marking that explicitly permits pavement parking (typically marked bays partly on the pavement). Otherwise it's an offence: up to CZK 2,000 on the spot, CZK 1,500–2,500 in administrative proceedings, and the city can have your car towed at your expense (thousands of crowns).
