⚠️ Penalties
A shed against zoning or distances can be ordered moved or demolished under penalty payments — and demolition always costs more than building. Exceeding building rights surfaces at the next permit application or at the property sale, where the fix is expensive and the deal can collapse over it. A shed too close to the neighbour's boundary is the other evergreen dispute: without written consent it may have to be moved, and snow or stormwater shedding onto the neighbour's side brings its own liability.
