My energy supplier is raising prices in Liechtenstein. What can I do?
A supplier cannot raise your price overnight. It has to warn you in advance, and that notice often gives you the right to leave.
📜 The rules in Liechtenstein
Price rises
LKW must announce changes to its price lists early enough for you to cancel within the notice period (30 days, in writing, to the end of the following month). If you do not cancel, the changes count as accepted. The fixed LKWclassic price is adjusted once a year.
Switching supplier
If you cancel your supply contract within the normal notice period, the grid operator may not charge you or either supplier for the switch. Grid operators must carry out a switch within three weeks, and you may obtain all your consumption data.

In many countries you can leave without a fee when the price goes up. The rules for Liechtenstein are on this page.
What if I missed the letter?
Ask the supplier for a copy and the date it was sent. If they cannot show proper notice, complain.
