Help if money is tight
Electricity bill discount for vulnerable consumers: 42.5% (57.5% for severely vulnerable) until 31 December 2026, then 35% and 50%. Apply through a reference supplier (comercializadora de referencia). Beneficiaries also receive the bono social térmico heating aid automatically.
Regulated price
PVPC: regulated electricity price for individuals and micro-businesses up to 10 kW, sold only by reference suppliers; it changes every hour with the wholesale market. TUR: government-set gas tariff for up to 50,000 kWh a year, sold by last-resort suppliers and updated quarterly.
