Can I grow and keep cannabis at home in Czechia?
Yes — since 1 January 2026 home growing is legal in Czechia, but only within strict limits. Anyone 21 or older may grow up to 3 cannabis plants (including THC above 1 %) and possess up to 100 g of dried cannabis at home and 25 g outside the home. You may grow only in property you own or legally use (e.g. rent), and plants must not be visible from public spaces. Careful: 4–5 plants is a misdemeanour and 6 or more a criminal offence — and giving or selling any amount to another person remains a crime.
