🔌 Power cut in Switzerland: who do I call?

The short answer

For a power cut you call the grid operator, not the company that bills you. The grid operator owns the cables and repairs faults.

📜 The rules in Switzerland

Power cut

For a power cut, contact your local grid operator (Elektrizitätswerk/Netzbetreiber). Switzerland has about 590 grid operators; you can find yours by municipality on the ElCom electricity price website.
