A parking fine has a short objection period printed on it — often 14 to 30 days — and objecting stops the increase and the enforcement. Object in writing to the issuer, Câmara Municipal / Junta de Freguesia (anmp.pt) for municipal fines, with photos: the sign, the meter, the ticket you had, the app receipt.
