🔐 Someone used my digital ID or government login — who do I contact?

Direct answer

Your national digital identity (the login you use for tax, benefits, health) is the master key to everything, so treat misuse as an emergency. Block or reset it at Национална система за електронна идентификация (МЕУ) / КЕП (0700 20 341) — every scheme has a helpline for exactly this. Then report to МВР — сигнал (112); the report number is needed to undo anything done in your name (a changed address, a benefit claim, a filed tax return). Комисия за защита на личните данни (КЗЛД) (02 915 3518) handles the data-protection side and can order the agency to correct the records. Never share a login code with anyone who calls — no agency ever asks.

  1. Block itThrough the scheme's helpline or app. Then set it up again on a device you control, with a new PIN and two-factor.
  2. Check what was doneLog in to tax, benefits, health and the population register: address changes, new claims, filed returns, new bank details.
  3. Report to МВР — сигналThe report reverses fraudulent actions with each agency and protects you from their consequences.
  4. Undo each actionWrite to each agency with the report number: revert the change, cancel the claim, correct the return.
  5. Data protection: Комисия за защита на личните данни (КЗЛД)If the agency is slow to correct, or if the misuse came from a leak, the authority can order and fine.

That is how most cases start. Block the ID now; you are still the victim, and the agencies treat it as such. Report it.

Someone changed my registered address

Reverse it at the population register with the police report; an address change redirects mail and enables more fraud, so do it first.
