What must I get before I sign a phone or internet contract in Cyprus, and can I change my mind?
Before you sign, also online or by phone, your provider must give you a free, short contract summary on the EU template: contact details, main features, prices, duration, renewal and cancellation terms, early-exit fees and, for internet, the speeds and your remedies.
Before you sign, you should get the key terms in writing: price, term, speed and how to leave. In many countries a short contract summary is required, and contracts made online, by phone or at your door usually come with a cooling-off period. The rules for Cyprus are below.

- Providers must submit their standard contract to the Commissioner for approval and give you the contract information clearly on a durable medium, and in an accessible format for users with disabilities on request. (ocecpr.ee.cy)
