District heating, heating oil or bottled gas in Greece: what are my rights?
Not every home is on the gas grid. District heating, heating oil and LPG have their own rules, and often a different body handles complaints.
📜 The rules in Greece
Heating without the gas grid
The state heating allowance (επίδομα θέρμανσης) helps with heating oil, natural gas, LPG, firewood, pellets, district heating or electricity. You apply on AADE's myΘέρμανση platform; for gas, LPG, wood, pellets and district heating you also submit your purchase records there.
- To apply you need a bank account (IBAN) in your name, declared on myAADE. If your area is missing from the list, contact the taxpayer service on 1521. (aade.gr)
