☀️ Solar panels in Norway: what do I get for the power I feed in?

The short answer

If you produce more than you use, the surplus goes into the grid. How you are paid for it depends on the national scheme.

📜 The rules in Norway

Solar panels

If you never feed more than 100 kW into the grid (e.g. rooftop solar), you are a plusskunde: no fixed charge on what you export and no grid fee on the power you use yourself. You sell surplus via a supplier.
