You missed a connection

Booked as one journey? What matters is how late you finally arrived.

Legal referenceEU 261; Folkerts C-11/11

If your flights were on a single booking and a delay on the first leg made you miss the connection, compensation depends on your arrival delay at the final destination — per the Folkerts ruling.

So even an on-time-looking first leg can owe you €250–€600 if you reached your destination three or more hours late. Keep both boarding passes and the rebooking.
