Overbooked off your flight? Do not volunteer cheaply — know what you are owed.

If the flight is overbooked the airline asks for volunteers first. If you are bumped involuntarily, you are owed fixed compensation (€250/€400/€600), a refund or re-routing, and care — and it cannot be cut for "extraordinary circumstances".
Get the denied-boarding confirmed in writing and do not sign away your rights for a low-value voucher.
