My phone or internet price is going up: can I leave my contract in Bulgaria?
Your provider must notify you of any change to your contract terms at least one month before it takes effect, together with your right to leave. You can then end the contract without extra costs within one month of the notice (art. 230 ЗЕС).
When a provider changes the price or terms during your contract, you may have the right to leave without a fee. That depends on what your contract already said about price changes and on the rules in Bulgaria.

Price rises built into the contract
A price rise linked to an official consumer price index must be announced on a durable medium at least one month ahead. You can still leave within two months of that notice, owing only for a subsidised device you keep (arts 229а, 230 ЗЕС).

- This exit right does not apply if the change is purely in your favour, purely administrative with no negative effect for you, or directly imposed by law or a competent authority. (damtn.government.bg)
